It didn’t take long for things to heat up between Igor Tudor and Mattéo Guendouzi. Landed just a few weeks ago on the Lazio bench, Igor Tudor therefore found Mattéo Guendouzi whom he had already had under his command at OM. And relations between the two men were already strained at that time. So obviously, when the Croatian coach arrived in Rome, while the Frenchman was walking on water, we expected new twists and turns.

And that’s what happened since the two men had an altercation in training which ignited the Italian press. This Friday evening, Igor Tudor wanted to break the silence to clarify the situation. “Mattéo will train with the group tomorrow (Saturday), he will be operational for the Italian Cup against Juventus. He has a calf problem, there is nothing else. My relations with Mattéo are good,” he said at the microphone of DAZN. That is clear.
