In search of a new coach after the surprise departure of Maurizio Sarri, Lazio bet on Igor Tudor. The Croatian has been free since his departure from OM last summer. In the Italian capital, he also found a former Marseille player: Mattéo Guendouzi. Last year, relations between them were not necessarily in good shape.

But the Corriere dello Sport explains that Tudor and Guendouzi met yesterday for the first time at the training center and sealed a “pact“. They discussed, clarified things and took a step towards each other, aware that they need each other. A new start for both men after complicated times in Marseille.
