Liverpool validated their ticket for the League Cup final this Wednesday evening at Fulham.

Two weeks after their victory at Anfield (2-1) in the semi-final first leg, the Reds were able to hold the Cottagers to a draw in their den (1-1).

Luis Diaz made the task easier for Jürgen Klopp’s men by opening the scoring in the 11the minute, but the Londoners believed in it until the end thanks to Issa Diop (77e).

In the final on February 25, Liverpool will face Chelsea, who the day before won their place to the detriment of Middlesbrough. A remake of the 2022 final which saw the Reds dominate the Blues on penalties (0-0, 11 tab to 10).
