Arsenal star Leah Williamson wasted no time on her return to action after nine months out with an ACL injury.
Williamson was named in Arsenal's squad to face Reading in the WSL Cup on Wednesday night after a nightmare year with injuries, and the fans in attendance were quick to show their appreciation.

But she made an emotional return to football after coming on as a late substitution in the FA WSL Cup against Reading to rapturous applause from those at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
And just moments later she contributed to Arsenal's fifth goal of the evening, clipping a ball over the top to Beth Mead, who brilliantly fired the ball into the net from the edge of the box.
280 days later after being sidelined with an ACL injury, Leah Williamson is back on the pitch for Arsenal.
