Wilfried Gnonto is once again pushing to leave Leeds United.

The Italian went on strike at the start of last season after failing to leave the club. However, eventually coming around following talks with manager Daniel Farke, Gnonto, 20, was able to be reintegrated before featuring in 44 games throughout the campaign.

However, following the recent exit of Crysencio Summerville, who was unveiled by West Ham on Saturday evening, Gnonto, according to recent reports, is also pushing to leave.

Despite being previously linked with Everton, the 20-year-old has so far failed to make the move but with suitors emerging in Serie A, a return to his homeland could be on the cards.

Wilfried Gnonto wants to leave Leeds United.

Italian trio Parma, Venezia and Genoa are all thought to be interested in signing the wantaway Verbania-born winger.

And while Leeds’ stance has yet to become clear, with the start of the season just five days away, Farke will be hoping the club can resolve his number 29’s future sooner rather than later.
