Tottenham Hotspur-owned Manor Solomon is currently on loan at Championship club Leeds United.

The 25-year-old joined the club on loan at the start of the season, but the Israeli international has not been able to make his mark in the Championship with Leeds. He has struggled with injury problems and has made just five appearances for the Whites so far.

Solomon has struggled with injury since joining the North London club in the summer of 2023. It will be interesting to see if he can get over his injury nightmare and get his career back on track. A player of his quality could make a big difference for Leeds going forward, and the Championship outfit will be disappointed with how the move has worked out for them.

Meanwhile, journalist Jonny Buchan has now suggested that Leeds should look to end his loan spell in January and let him return to Tottenham. He has urged the Championship outfit to bring in a player who will help them improve.

Buchan said on BBC’s Don’t Go To Bed Just Yet podcast: “You wonder with Solomon whether he’s going to be able to get that time, and then you question do you keep him? Or do you send him back?

“Then use that spot, I’m not saying they’re on the limit of their loans, they’re not, but do you use that pot that you’ve used money-wise to get someone else who can maybe have a bigger impact?”.

It will be interesting to see if Daniel Farke decides to end Solomon’s loan spell prematurely. There is no doubt that he is a quality player, but he has been ineffective for them because of his injury problem.

Leeds will be desperate for promotion this season and they need quality additions. It would not be a surprise if they attempted to send Solomon back to the Premier League club in January.
