The March 1st, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with Roman Reigns and the Bloodline entering the arena in Arizona, soaking in the crowd’s cheers. He had some scathing words for the fans in attendance as he called them addicts. In that regard, we have now fact checked The Rock’s claims.

In a controversial twist, The Rock referred to nearby Phoenix as the top city in America for meth and cocaine use. Despite this, fans continued to cheer him. The Rock intensified his confrontational stance by calling fans “cactus-loving crackheads” and hinting at physical confrontation, mentioning “22 inches of heaven” for those daring to face him one-on-one.

According to American Addiction Centers, Phoenix has the highest percentage of its population using cocaine and meth. With a population of 1.5 million, the report indicates that 15.1% have used meth, and 23.3% have used cocaine. Mesa, Arizona, ranks second in both categories.

Despite Phoenix’s high usage, Omaha, NE, is listed as the city with the most drug use due to its elevated percentage of marijuana users in the population. However, City Data suggests that Traverse City, MI, has a 23.8% population usage of cocaine, slightly higher than Phoenix.

The Rock’s segment also went on longer than expected. We will have to wait and see how WWE Will continue to book The Great One, as his promo certainly put the whole world on notice in a big way.
