Lei Ying Lee (FKA Xia Li) Comments On TNA Debut

Lei Ying Lee looks ahead to her upcoming TNA debut.

This Thursday, TNA Wrestling will officially welcome in a new member to its Knockouts Division, namely Lei Ying Lee, formerly known as Xia Li in WWE. With her in-ring debut on the horizon, Lee has now put forth a statement promising to bring forth her fighting spirit and passion to TNA.

“Thursday, power and passion will collide on the TNA stage!” Lee wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “As the first Chinese woman to step into the TNA ring, I’m bringing fearless spirit and unwavering determination to face any challenge! This is the beginning of an unstoppable legend. Don’t miss it. #UnstoppableForce.”

Lee’s TNA debut match was filmed as a part of the September 14 television tapings, which emanated from San Antonio, Texas. Full results of those tapings, including the identity of Lee’s first opponent, can be found here.

Following her exit from WWE in September 2023, Lee has now competed in five matches. Most recently, Lee and Mizuki defeated VENY and Yuki Kamifuku at TJPW’s Wrestle Princess 5 event on September 22. Lee also teamed with Jake Hager and Maggie Lee in a victorious effort against Mike Rallis, Shazza McKenzie, and fellow TNA Knockout Ash By Elegance. This took place at Black Label Pro’s Crowning Glory show on September 4.

Lee isn’t the only new face in the TNA Knockouts division. Earlier this month, TNA also onboarded former CSW Women’s Champion Heather Reckless with a match against Gisele Shaw.
