With one game left of the 2023/24 Championship season, Leicester City have already been guided to the title by Enzo Maresca.
The Foxes have pretty much led English football’s second tier for the majority of the campaign and had a double digit lead at one stage.
Though they were reeled in by both Leeds United and Ipswich Town, they just had enough about them at the right time to pull away again and ensure their stay in the Championship was a short one.
Sevilla could target Enzo Maresca
The club can already begin to plan for life back in the Premier League and what that’s going to look like in terms of personnel.
One thing they surely wouldn’t have countenanced would be an approach for the manager.

However, according to ABC de Sevilla (h/t Leicestershire Live), Sevilla could target the Italian if they decide to sack their current manager, Quique Sanchez Flores.
It isn’t clear whether Maresca himself would be open to the Andalusian’s overtures, but it will be a worry for the Leicester hierarchy nevertheless.
