Halle Berry Addresses Those Saying She “Can’t Keep A Man”
According to Complex, Berry appeared on an episode of ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ which aired on Monday, February 24. During her appearance, her conversation with Barrymore reportedly touched on critics saying she “can’t keep a man.”
In turn, Berry shared a spicy response for her naysayers.
“It’s hard in these streets. I’ve heard people say, ‘Something must be wrong with Halle Berry. She can’t keep a man.’ Who’s to say I wanna keep a man? I don’t wanna keep the wrong man. Like, I’m not crazy, right?” she asked the live audience.
From there, Berry went on to explain that “we all make mistakes.”
“So when you find that you make a mistake — we all make mistakes. We have a right to say, ‘Oh God, this was a mistake. Let me start again.’ We have a right to do that,” she added.

According to PEOPLE, during Halle Berry’s appearance on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show,’ she noted that she found her “guy,” Van Hunt, later in life. Per Complex, the pair have been dating since 2020.
“What I realized was when I manifested the last time, I only focused on what I wanted. The things I didn’t want I didn’t even think about.I was very specific about what I needed. I would just be positive around it, and believe it or not, one day I got introduced to him by a friend,” Berry told Barrymore of her romance with Hunt.
