Winner of Darmstadt this Saturday, Bayer Leverkusen is still undefeated this season.

How far will the Bayer Leverkusen ? Still undefeated in all competitions this season, ranking.

Tella delights

Deprived of its scorer Victor Boniface (victim of a torn adductor muscle), the Rhineland club was able to count on another Nigerian international since Nathan Tella, who was not selected for the CAN with the Super Eagles, scored a decisive double. Well served by a superb cross from the inevitable Grimaldo, the 24-year-old opened the scoring after half an hour of play, allowing the Spaniard to deliver his 9th assist of the season.

Seven minutes after returning from the locker room, Tella did it again by beating Schuhen with a cannon shot in the penalty area. Thanks to this rather quiet victory, Leverkusen continues its path and totals 52 points after 20 league matches. After 29 matches in all competitions, they are still the only undefeated team in Europe in 2023-2024.
