Lewandowski affair: Barça in the dock

Robert Lewandowski has been the subject of much speculation over his future over the past few months, but as of now he has no plans to leave Barcelona over the summer.

For the coach of his national team, this is not necessarily good news. Michal Probierz, who took charge of the Polish team last September, attacked FC Barcelona during an interview with TVP Sport (via Sport) about the treatment reserved for the 35-year-old striker.

“Robert is Barcelona’s top scorer and it must be said that the team did not help him. He is often in a good shooting position, but the ball never reaches him. In the last match (against Rayo Vallecano), when he received the cross, he scored a goal – very nice in fact. »

Will leave? Won’t leave?

“Barcelona were in disastrous form. Robert was the player who tried to bring the team back together, but at one point they lost the fight for the titles and the team’s morale plummeted. »

Lewandowski has certainly looked fitter in the second half of the season, even if he hasn’t reached perfection yet. A departure from Barcelona cannot be ruled out, even if it seems unlikely at this stage.
