Liam Payne allegedly sent ex Maya Henry and her family “unsolicited and disturbing” lewd photos and videos of himself before his death, according to a bombshell legal notice exclusively obtained by Page Six.
In a cease and desist letter sent to Payne, his attorney and agents on Oct. 9 — just one week before the singer tragically fell to his death in Buenos Aires — Henry’s lawyers claimed he had “repeatedly sent unsolicited and disturbing images and videos in the past to Maya Henry, and Maya’s family members.”
The alleged images included — but were not limited to — “pictures of his genitals and various videos of Mr. Payne performing disturbing sexual acts on himself.”
The notice also accused Payne of “actively communicating” with third parties to distribute “intimate visual material” depicting his ex-girlfriend in an “intimate fashion.”
Page Six has exclusively obtained a cease and desist letter that Maya Henry sent ex Liam Payne days before he died. Instagram/maya_henry Henry’s attorneys alleged in the letter that Payne had been sending explicit photos of himself to Henry and her family. GC ImagesAccording to the letter, Henry received a direct Instagram message on Oct. 6 from a woman claiming to know the former One Direction member well. She alleged she and Payne first started communicating years prior.
Page Six reviewed a copy of the DM, in which the unnamed individual alleged, “The main reason I reached out is because he started blowing up my phone very recently on an iCloud email, and when I asked who it was, he started asking me if I wanted nudes of you/ his current gf.”
The current girlfriend is presumably Kate Cassidy, whom the troubled pop star had been vacationing with in Argentina before he passed. Page Six has reached out to Cassidy for comment.
The woman alleged to Henry that she replied “absolutely not” to Payne in regard to receiving photos of his exes, and added that she wanted to give Henry “a heads up that he offered that.”
The woman also claimed, per the message Page Six obtained, that Cassidy had reached out to her at one point asking her why her number had been blocked from her boyfriend’s phone.
“I stopped answering him for a while and he messaged me on an iCloud account, a few different phone numbers as well as a Snapchat [account],” the person further alleged in the DM to Henry.
Another message Payne allegedly sent to the woman read, “Send me f–king and sucking vids. Did I ever send you ones of Maya? ?? or any of my exes?”
Per docs obtained by Page Six, Payne also allegedly threatened to send nude photos of Henry and other exes to third parties without their consent. Instagram/maya_henryHenry’s attorneys threatened to take “criminal action” or file civil lawsuits against the “Night Changes” crooner should he “defame, threaten, harass or intimidate” their client or her family.
They also noted that Henry would seek punitive damages for an unspecified amount.
The attorneys concluded by letting Payne and his team know that he had 10 business days to respond to the receipt of the letter, acknowledging that he would cease and desist “from taking any actions that may relate directly or indirectly to the dissemination, communication or transfer of the alleged images.”
It’s unclear whether the “Story of My Life” singer or his team ever replied. Payne died on Oct. 16, before the deadline.
Prior to his death, Payne had reportedly been feeling “extremely overwhelmed” by all of the legal issues he was facing. Henry had recently started to go public with abuse claims she allegedly experienced while dating the singer.

Instagram/kateecassIn September, the Texas native — who dated Payne from 2018 to 2022 — claimed the former One Direction singer still obsessively contacted her long after their breakup.
“Ever since we broke up, he messages me, will blow up my phone, not only from his phone number, it’s always from different phone numbers too, so I never know where it’s gonna come from,” she alleged via TikTok at the time.
“He’ll create new iCloud accounts to iMessage me — it’s always a damn new iCloud account. Every time I see one pop up on my phone I’m like, ‘Here we f–king go again.’”
Henry also claimed in a podcast interview, released on Oct. 14, that Payne would allegedly use his addiction issues to try and manipulate her.
“He would always message me ever since we broke up …. He would always play with death and be like, ‘Well, I’m going to die. I’m not doing well,'” she claimed on “The Internet Is Dead” podcast.
“There was one time I tried to get him help and then he was not taking it. He would text my mom, ‘I’m not doing well, have Maya contact me,’ because I wouldn’t respond.”

Meanwhile, Payne’s death is still under investigation in Argentina.
Prosecutors recently ruled out that the “What Makes You Beautiful” singer died by suicide. They noted that he was likely unconscious when he tragically fell from a third-story balcony at the CasaSur Palemo Hotel and therefore “did not know what he was doing nor could he understand it.”
A toxicology report showed that Payne had ingested multiple drugs, contributing to his state of mind at the time of his death. Several eyewitnesses had also seen him acting “erratically” in his final hours.
One fellow hotel guest previously recalled seeing Payne smash his laptop in the lobby after receiving an email that seemingly upset him. It’s unclear what was in the unsavory message.
Payne had been vacationing in Argentina with girlfriend Kate Cassidy leading up to his death. Payne’s friend, whose identity was not immediately disclosed, was charged with abandonment, while a hotel employee and an alleged drug dealer were charged with supplying narcotics.
Argentine authorities identified the staffer as Braian Nahuel Paiz, a former waiter at one of the hotel restaurants. He has denied giving the “For You” singer drugs.
“They’re saying that he was not under the influence before getting to [CasaSur] but the reality is that he was already on drugs. In fact, he didn’t eat,” Paiz claimed to news outlet Telefe Noticias.

Rogelio “Roger” Nores — who is believed to be the friend that was charged as he was with Payne the day he died — has also denied abandoning his pal, claiming in a statement to Daily Mail that he was “joking with him” when he left.
Page Six reported earlier this month that Payne’s body had been flown to the UK for his burial.
The former “X Factor” contestant is survived by his 7-year-old son, Bear, whom he shared with ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole.
