A post-autopsy report has revealed new details about Liam Payne‘s death and what happened in his final moments of life. Authorities in Argentina initially released a preliminary autopsy report on Thursday afternoon (October 17) and several hours later, more details were unveiled in the post-autopsy report. Liam passed away at the age of 31 on Wednesday (October 16) after falling from the third floor of his Argentina hotel room. The initial report confirmed that Liam “may have fallen in a state of semi or total unconsciousness” before the fall and that he suffered from 25 injuries from the tragic accident. Rolling Stone revealed that the report states that Liam “died of multiple traumas, internal and external bleeding, and a cranial injury as a result of his fall.” The post-autopsy report revealed further details about what happened in the fall. Keep reading to find out more… “The circumstances of the case are being investigated as a ‘questionable death,’ although everything indicates that the musician was alone when the fall occurred, and was going through some type of outbreak from substance abuse,” the report said. Minutes before Liam fell to his death at 5:07pm, a worker at the hotel called 911 about a “guest who was under the influence of drugs and alcohol and who had destroyed some objects in the room.” The report stated, “The forensic experts reported that the 25 injuries described in the autopsy are aligned with those caused by a fall from a height. They also pointed out that the craniocerebral injuries were sufficient to cause death, while internal and external hemorrhages in the skull, thorax, abdomen and limbs contributed to the mechanism of death.” The position in which Liam landed proves that he “did not adopt a reflex posture to protect himself.” Investigations in the hotel room show that there were “narcotics and alcoholic beverages, as well as various destroyed objects and furniture” present. There’s no evidence of foul play on Liam‘s body and there’s no sign that any third parties were involved in his death. Two women who were in his hotel room hours before the fall have been interviewed by police, as have three hotel workers. Liam died due to the “gravity of his injuries.” FURTHER UPDATES ON LIAM PAYNE’S TRAGIC PASSING:
