Producer Sam Pounds has postponed the release of what would have been Liam Payne‘s first posthumous single. On Tuesday (October 29), the producer took to social media to announce plans to drop a song called “Do No Harm,” which featured Liam‘s vocals. It was scheduled to arrive on Friday, just a few weeks after the One Direction singer tragically passed away at the age of 31. In a statement shared on social media, Sam explained the decision and opened up about when fans might be able to hear the song. We will all wait.” Sam shared a preview of the song on Instagram in the days after Liam‘s tragic passing, noting that the singer also wanted to work with Chris Brown. “I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed. I pray angels will comfort you all everyday while listening.
