After a very complicated start to the season, Sevilla FC finally won their first victory against Getafe on the last day (1-0). On the pitch at Alavés, the Andalusians wanted to confirm and get back on track, but it didn’t go as planned at all. Overwhelmed, Garcia Pimienta’s men conceded the opening goal from Vicente (1-0, 17th).

In the second half, Alavés even made the break thanks to Martin (2-0, 60th). Lukebakio’s reduction of the score changed nothing (2-1, 83rd) and Sevilla lost for the third time this season, already. The Andalusians remain 14th and could move into the relegation zone if the pursuers perform well. For their part, Alavés surprise and climb to 5th place, before going to Real Madrid.
