At 37 years old, Iago Aspas proves that he still has it under his belt. Starting against Girona this Sunday, the Spanish international allowed Celta Vigo to secure a draw at the end of the match (1-1). On a service from Swedberg at the entrance to the area, he deceived Gazzaniga with a perfect flat foot, fifteen minutes after coming into play (81st).

A 4th goal in La Liga for the Spaniard, who had echoed the Catalans’ opener almost an hour earlier thanks to Yangel Herrera. In the standings, Celta Vigo is 9th but remains one of the thrilling teams at the start of the season. Last year’s surprise, Girona, struggles to confirm and is mired in 12th place.
