After several months of speculation, the Administrative Court of Sport (TAD) has opened a case against Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga. The decision of the TAD has been clear and the trial against the president of the League will be opened, which could end with a possible disqualification or suspension, as happened to Pedro Rocha. A complaint by Florentino Pérez, filed before the Higher Council of Sports (CSD). The latter accuses Tebas of discriminating against Real Madrid in the convening of the assembly of employers’ clubs that discussed the pact with CVC.

The complaint comes 15 days before the start of the investigation. The next step will be to call an emergency assembly (which approved the agreement with CVC LaLiga Impulso) eight days in advance, and not 10 as stipulated in the rules. The TAD had admitted the complaint sent by the CSD last April. The clubs had to repeat it five months later, in December, where all the possible formal defects of the first call were corrected.
