Following the 10th day of La Liga this Sunday, Villarreal hosted the Getafe club, on the lawn of the Estadio de la Cerámica. A rather balanced match which ultimately logically ended in a narrow victory for Marcelino’s troops. Despite a slight domination of the Azulones who showed good things in attack, Santi Comesaña opened the scoring to put his team on the right track before the break (44th). But at the end of the match, Mauro Arambarri converted his penalty to equalize (87th)

Enough to grab valuable points for the evening visitors, authors of a good game (1-1). In the ranking, Villarreal remains provisionally in 4th place, while Getafe remains in danger by occupying this 16th position. Next weekend, Submarino Amarillo will travel to Valladolid, while Azulones will host Valencia CF, during the 11th day of the Spanish championship.
