Already qualified for the next edition of the Champions League and already assured of finishing in third place, Girona had the opportunity to offer one last show to its public this Friday against Granada. And the Andalusian club, already condemned to relegation to the second division, was sacrificed in front of a Catalan public in heaven. Dominant, the locals waited until the half-hour mark to open the scoring thanks to Eric Garcia (1-0, 30th). Subsequently, the latter took place under the leadership of his Ukrainian duo Dovbyk-Tsygankov.

While the second city went for its goal to offer the break (34th), the first scored from the penalty spot to give its team a three-goal lead just before the break (3-0, 44th). Tsygankov (54th) then Dovbyk (75th) scored twice to amplify Grenada’s ordeal. Coming into play, veteran Stuani joined the party (78th) before Dovbyk, from the penalty spot (90th), scored a hat-trick to overtake Alexander Sorloth at the top of the scorers’ rankings with 24 units. This Andalusian rout, or this Catalan feast depending on the chosen side, changes nothing in the ranking.
