Liga: Girona strolls against Osasuna and finally starts its season

Held (1-1) by Real Betis on the first day before being swept away (0-3) by Atlético de Madrid, Girona, sensation of the last season, has finally found the way to victory. While the Spanish team is now set for its start in the Champions League, Michel Sanchez Muñoz’s men did not tremble to get rid of Osasuna on the 3rd day of La Liga.

After Bryan Gil Salvatierra opened the scoring at the end of the first half (1-0, 34th), the home side finally secured their first win of the season thanks to three new goals from Viktor Tsygankov (2-0, 53rd), Abel Ruiz (3-0, 56th) and Cristhian Stuani (4-0, 90th). With this big win (4-0), Girona moved up to 7th place. Osasuna is 12th.
