Since yesterday, Spain has been in mourning by the very violent fire which took place yesterday in a 14-story apartment building in Valencia, causing the death of 4 people. The emergency services still count 14 missing. The images of the flames are still in everyone’s minds and it’s not really football time for the local club. The Ches requested and obtained the postponement of this Saturday’s meeting where they must travel to Granada for the 26th day.

“At the request of the clubs and in cooperation with the Spanish federation, we confirm the postponements of Granada-Valencia (26th day of La Liga) and Levante-Andorra (28th day of Liga Adelante)” explains the league press release, adding that a minute of silence in memory of the victims will be held on all pitches this weekend. “The time and date remain to be determined” regarding the postponement of these two meetings.
