This Saturday evening, the 11th day of La Liga will offer us a tempting Clasico between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. But before that, Las Palmas received Girona. An important meeting for the Canary Islands club who had to win against the Catalans in difficulty this season in La Liga. Slightly dominant in the first period, the locals opened the scoring just before the break thanks to Alex Munoz (1-0, 42nd).

Returning from the locker room, Las Palmas resisted a few Catalan attacks and controlled to achieve their second success of the season. With this victory, the residents of the Gran Canaria stadium are now in 17th place. Bad operation for Girona which stagnates and is in 13th place unworthy of a team which appears in the Champions League.
