As part of the 38th and final day of La Liga, Las Palmas, sixteenth at kick-off but already maintained, welcomed Alavés. After a first act without the slightest goal, the visitors finally found the fault upon returning from the locker room thanks to Vicente (0-1, 50th). Led, the Gran Canaria team managed, despite everything, to snatch a point from the draw thanks to an achievement from Cardona (1-1, 71st). With this result, Alavés moves back to 10th place. For its part, Las Palmas ends this 2023-2024 financial year in 16th place.

In Balaidos, Celta hosted Valencia, ninth before the match. If Ruben Baraja’s men quickly took the advantage on an own goal from the unfortunate Carlos Dominguez (0-1, 5th), Vigo equalized after the break on a penalty from Iago Aspas (1-1, 49th). In the process, Mari, from the penalty spot, allowed the Valencian club to get back in front (1-2, 60th) but Douvikas once again put the two teams on level terms (2-2, 62nd). In the standings, Valencia remains 9th, Celta is 13th but can still be overtaken by Sevilla FC who face Barça this Sunday evening.
