It will be possible to watch Ligue 1 in full for less than 12 euros per month but… only for the British public.

While the French football public and players are complaining about not being able to access Ligue 1 matches for a reasonable amount – 30 euros per month for 8 of the 9 matches on each day, with beIN Sports broadcasting the other match – the British will have much less trouble than the French in accessing them.

The LFP announced this Friday that an NBA-style League Pass would now be available in the United Kingdom and Ireland to watch all the championship matches for… 10 pounds per month, or just under 12 euros. The 2nd day of Ligue 1, which will start this Friday evening with a match between Paris Saint-Germain and Montpellier, will even be offered free of charge to spectators across the Channel.

A spot to present the offer was even broadcast during the day to encourage interested fans to subscribe.

While it is very common for a championship subscription to be offered at a lower price for broadcast abroad, this news will probably not calm the grumbling around the LFP and the main broadcaster DAZN.
