This Friday, the FFF published its annual ranking of the best training centers in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. A classification that allows you to know which clubs are focusing their project on training, but also a good indicator for young players who are hesitating between several clubs in order to learn their trade in youth. Dominated by Stade Rennais last year, the Breton club still holds the top spot in the ranking during the season that has just ended. With 4.75 stars out of 5, the Roazhon Park residents are well ahead of their runner-up, OL, as they were last season.
With 4.2 stars, the Rhone club is closely followed by PSG, who came to steal third place from AS Monaco. Showing improvement in recent months with a victory in the Coupe Gambardella, OM is 14th in this ranking after being 16th last year (with 20 teams but 18 this season). As in Ligue 1 in 2023-2024, Clermont occupies the last place in the ranking. As a reminder, this ranking takes into account several criteria such as professionalization, playing time in the first team, national selections, schooling and European representation.
