Ligue 1: the schedule for the first day is known

The 2023/2024 season has now ended a little over two months ago and we are going to have the right to a lively 2024/2025 exercise. The word is ideal when we think back on this eventful summer to know the television broadcasters of the French football championship. Long at an impasse, the LFP has finally reached an agreement with DAZN which will broadcast 8 of the 9 matches while beIN Sports will have the ninth match on Saturday at 5 p.m.

So, this is how the next football weekends in Ligue 1 will unfold. There will be a match on Friday evening at 8:45 p.m. on DAZN. On Saturday, there will be three matches, two on DAZN at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and one on BeIN Sports at 5 p.m. The Qatari channel will have first choice on even days and second choice on odd days. Finally, on Sunday, we will have a match at 3 p.m. on DAZN, three matches at 5 p.m. also on DAZN and finally the Sunday evening match at 8:45 p.m., still on DAZN. The English channel will have priority in choosing its match on odd days, as is the case for the 1st matchday.

Rennes-OL for the Sunday evening match

The formula is known, the posters are now known. Thus, the season will begin on Friday, August 16 at 8:45 p.m. with a nice poster between Le Havre and Paris Saint-Germain, reigning French champion, which will be broadcast on DAZN. This will be followed the next day on BeIN Sports by an interesting duel between Brest and OM at 5 p.m. The other two matches on Saturday, August 17, which will be broadcast on DAZN, are Stade de Reims – LOSC Lille at 7 p.m. and AS Monaco – AS Saint-Étienne at 9 p.m.

For Sunday, August 18, we will start at 3 p.m. with an interesting match between AJ Auxerre and OGC Nice on DAZN. Still on the same channel, we will have three matches at 5 p.m. It will be Montpellier Hérault SC – RC Strasbourg Alsace, Angers SCO – RC Lens and Toulouse FC – FC Nantes. Finally, the clash of Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. will pit Stade Rennais FC against Olympique Lyonnais. Some great duels in perspective that announce an explosive first day for the 2024/2025 Ligue 1 season.
