Bruno Genésio’s LOSC know who their opponent will be in the 3rd preliminary round of the Champions League.

Fourth in the last Ligue 1 season, Lille must go through two rounds to hope to reach the final phase of the Champions League. This Tuesday, the Dogues learned the identity of their opponent when they entered the competition.

Lille will travel to Istanbul

LOSC will have to face Fenerbahçe from Istanbul. The Turkish team reached this stage by dominating the Swiss team from Lugano in both the first and second legs. After the 3-2 in the first leg, they won 2-1 at home.

Fenerbahçe is coached this season by the illustrious José Mourinho. The “Special One” is currently working to strengthen his team. He is trying to bring Victor Lindelof and Mateo Kovacic to the banks of the Bosphorus.

The winner of this duel will advance to the play-offs, which will be played at the end of August. It will then be a very tough match, with a higher level even if it is the path of non-champions.
