Where were Rémy Cabella, Jonathan David and Thomas Meunier? This Sunday, LOSC lost to Paris Saint-Germain (3-1), however three of Bruno Génésio’s major players were not in the starting eleven. A decision that could be explained by an internal problem. According to L’TeamJonathan David, Thomas Meunier and Rémy Cabella would not have participated in a joint dinner scheduled with the rest of the team the day before the match. An absence which would have provoked the anger of the Lille board and this relegation to the bench against PSG.

Bruno Génésio would surely have liked to be able to count on three of his key players against the Parisians. When asked about the issue, the French coach nevertheless chose to dodge the issue: “I can’t answer you, there are leaders for that”. The three friends finally all came back in the second half, while the Dogues were already behind. However, they did not manage to reverse the course of the match.
