Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis opened up about their long-awaited Freaky Friday. If you were unaware, all but two members of the original cast are returning for the new movie Freakier Friday, which is expected to premiere in theaters in 2025. In a new interview, Lindsay and Jamie reflected on getting back together on set. They also teased how the second movie would live up to it’s “Freakier” title! Keep reading to find out more… Speaking to IMDb, Lindsay gushed about rediscovering a flow on set. “It feels like a rhythm that never stopped,” she said. The actress continued, hinting at plans to get her onscreen band back in action: “Pink Slip is returning in full force with a lot of love in their hearts. And it’s so much fun. And it feels like the band never left each other.” When asked about the sequel, Jamie recalled saying that Disney needed to make a sequel. “I don’t think I was asking,” she said. “The truth is I’m quite old, and I have worked a lot, and everywhere I go, the movie that people want to know about is Freaky Friday.” She also teased some details about the new movie. “The movie is just freakier in all aspects. It’s funnier, and there’s more physical comedy. The switches are freakier,” she said. “This one has more swapping.” Jamie continued, adding, “I can’t tell you what it is, but I have a secret way of reminding myself [which character I’m playing], but I can’t tell you until you see the movie, or until we’re promoting the movie, and then you’ll know a lot more about the movie.” If you missed it, Lindsay and Jamie recently shared some surprising news about Chad Michael Murray‘s role in the sequel.
