One of the WWE shows that was later canceled was 205 Live. It was given the moniker that it was the fastest hour on television. The championship in that promotion was the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. One of the top stars who played a key role in 205 Live was Lio Rush. The former WWE Superstar recently mentioned that if the 205 Live brand was present currently, it would be incredible.

The self-proclaimed Man of The Hour was recently interviewed by MuscleMan Malcolm. During the interview, Lio Rush said that 205 Live would have been incredible in the present era of professional wrestling.

“I always say, if 205 (Live) was present now, I think it would be incredible. I think it was incredible then. I feel like so many of the guys that were in 205 were groundbreaking wrestlers. Yeah, we are in a… I don’t think it was the time. I… Liked… I liked the concept, I really enjoyed being a part of 205. I appreciate what 205 Live has done for me. But man, if 205 was out right now, sheesh!” Lio Rush said.

Lio Rush is upset that he never got to compete in a Royal Rumble

The last time that Rush was interviewed by MuscleMan Malcolm, he mentioned that the one thing that stung him the most during his run in WWE was when he was unable to compete in the Royal Rumble match.

“Oh yeah, there’s one that’s stings. There’s one that sings a lot, actually,” Lio Rush said. “The year that I came out with Bobby. I think this was Phoenix, Arizona. I was supposed to be in that Royal Rumble. Yeah, I was supposed to be at Royal Rumble, and I was not. And I think they ended up changing plans last minute.

“And I just ended up accompanying Bobby down when he got his number, and he came out. But I was definitely prepared to enter the Rumble that year. And yeah, that one stings. Because that’s bucket list moments right there.

“So yeah, but I definitely remember that. I was supposed to be in the Royal Rumble that year. And for whatever reason, it ended up changing super, super last minute, almost like hours before the show started. So yeah, that one stings a little bit. But yeah, that’s another moment that I remember.”
