Lisa Kudrow provided an update about the Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion sequel that’s in development. The 61-year-old Friends alum starred in the 1997 movie alongside Mira Sorvino. In December, Mira teased that there was a script for a second movie, which was “so close to being greenlit.” During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Lisa revealed where the movie stood. Keep reading to find out more… Speaking to Drew Barrymore, Lisa confirmed everything that Mira teased. “She said it perfectly: We’re as close as we’ve ever been,” Lisa gushed. “There’s a script that’s really good. Robin Schiff wrote it.” If you were unaware, Robin wrote the original movie. While nothing is official yet, Lisa seemed excited about the possibility, saying, “So it’ll happen, I mean, we’ll see.” During the interview, she also revealed that the movie was initially a play, which was then almost turned into a television show before it became the hit movie.
