Lisa Vanderpump Addresses Speculation 'Vanderpump Rules' is Canceled Amid Hiatus

Lisa Vanderpump is addressing all of the rumors surrounding the future of Vanderpump Rules.

Earlier this month, Andy Cohen confirmed that production for season 12 of the hit Bravo reality show has been put on hiatus. The show, which usually films over the summer, now won’t be filming until later this year, but an official start date hasn’t been revealed yet.

With the hiatus, many fans believed that this really means that Vanderpump Rules has been canceled.

In a new interview, Lisa, 63, responded to all of the speculation.

She also noted that she’s busy opening up about a new restaurant.

“I have a restaurant to open in September, so I have to be full-steam ahead on that,” Lisa explained. “I was away just before I opened Wolf working with Gordon [Ramsay]. That put a lot of pressure on us. I really need a couple of months to do that now.”

It’s been a very busy year for Lisa. Along with filming season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, she’s also premiered two new shows – Bravo’s The Valley (which she is a producer on) and Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa – and opened new restaurants Wolf in Lake Tahoe and Pinky’s by Vanderpump at Flamingo Las Vegas.

“It’s been a very busy year, three shows on the air and two restaurants to open,” Lisa added. “I wouldn’t mind a breath myself.”

One Vanderpump Rules cast member recently admitted they’re not sure they’re going to return for season 12.
