Becky Lynch has been absent from WWE since her loss to Liv Morgan in a cage match on the May 27th episode of WWE Raw. The Man’s WWE contract expired, and she is now technically free agent.

In that fateful cage match, Liv Morgan successfully retained her WWE Women’s World Championship, and Lynch has not appeared on WWE television since. Morgan is still around, and Women’s World Champion, so she’s still using that match to get heat.

Liv Morgan has even gone as far as to take credit for Lynch’s absence, hinting that she played a role in Lynch stepping away from the ring. During an interview on The Big Show with Rusic and Rose, Morgan didn’t shy away from boasting about her accomplishments, including being the one to send Lynch packing.

“I’m so happy and I’m so proud. I’m just trying to enjoy it all and do everything justice. Two-time world champion. Two-time tag team champion. Money in the Bank winner. I single-handedly retired Becky Lynch. I’m the only person to defeat Rhea Ripley in the last two years, and I have Daddy Dom. I’m a very very very happy girl.”

At this point, it is still unclear if or when Becky Lynch will make her return to WWE. She is currently not under contract with the company, and her future remains uncertain. Her husband, Seth Rollins, has also stepped away from WWE to address chronic injury issues, adding further speculation about their combined future in the wrestling industry. They used an attack from Bronson Reed to write Rollins off television. Fans remain hopeful for Lynch’s eventual return, but for now, her absence continues to spark conversation.

Liv Morgan is now a part of the Judgment Day, and she’s very much involved in an ongoing program with Rhea Ripley. Only time will tell what the end game is, but you can never count out Becky Lynch’s eventual return to make Morgan eat her words.
