Raw took place this week in Baltimore, MD as the promotion came off of a successful SummerSlam event. Two women’s matches took place which led to a Women’s Tag Team Titles number one contenders match set for next week.

Lyra Valkyria vs. Shayna Baszler (w/Sonya Deville & Zoey Stark)

The match began with Baszler taking down Valkyria and targeting her left arm. Lyra responded with a cross body block and a series of kicks, but Baszler countered with an ankle lock. Lyra managed to slip out and hit a Powerbomb for a near fall. As Lyra went to the top rope, Stark’s interference distracted her, allowing Baszler to evade Lyra’s aerial attack. Lyra countered Baszler’s attempt at a choke with an enziguri kick, followed by the Nightwing slam for a two-count. The match ended in a disqualification when Deville and Stark attacked Lyra, resulting in a quick three-minute bout.

Winner by Disqualification: Lyra Valkyria

Post-match, Baszler, Deville, and Stark continued their assault until Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, and Kairi Sane) ran down to make the save, clearing the ring and ending the segment.

The Creed Brothers were seen talking to Ivy Nile when Maxxine Dupri approached them. Nile didn’t respond much, and Chad Gable then appeared, criticizing Dupri and her team while aligning himself with The Creed Brothers for their main event match against The Wyatt Sicks. Nile left with Gable.

Finn Balor appeared on the video screen, addressing Damian Priest and vowing to betray him when he least expects it. Balor mentioned that the entire new Judgment Day faction, including Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Carlito, and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, would be involved in taking down Priest.

After a match between JD McDonagh and Damian Priest, the new Judgment Day attacked Priest. Priest fought off most of the group, leaving Liv Morgan in the ring. Rhea Ripley’s music hit, and she stormed down to the ring, attacking Morgan and throwing her into the ring post twice. Dominik saved Morgan from being put through a table, leading to a moment where commentary now referred to Priest and Ripley as the “Terror Twins,” as they hugged in the ring.

Damage CTRL was shown backstage, where they were ambushed by Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark. Baszler stomped on Dakota Kai’s knee, which took her out of the upcoming match. This set up a later match between SKY and Kai.

IYO SKY (w/Kairi Sane) vs. Sonya Deville (w/Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark)

Sky started strong with a headscissors that sent Deville outside, followed by attacks on Stark and Baszler. Deville gained control after sending Sky into the steel steps. During the match, Deville hit Sky with a knee strike and a running knee to the face, but Sky retaliated with an uppercut, dropkick, and a missile dropkick for a near fall. Stark’s interference nearly gave Deville the win, but Sane took out Stark on the outside, allowing Sky to hit Over The Moonsault on Deville for the victory after ten minutes.

Winner by Pinfall: Iyo Sky

Next Week on Raw:
