Liv Morgan is happy to be back.
Liv Morgan had been sidelined since July 2023, but the former SmackDown Women’s Champion made her return at WWE Royal Rumble. She competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble and made it to the final two before Bayley eliminated her.
Speaking with Denise Salcedo, Liv Morgan commented on her return at WWE Royal Rumble.
“I mean, it’s been a journey the last six months,” Liv Morgan said. “It’s been a fight, it’s been a struggle. So to come back at the Royal Rumble in the coveted 30 spot, I was very happy, and I felt honored, and just happy to be back, happy to be back doing what I love, doing my thing. Came really, really close, but I am happy for Bayley nonetheless.”
Salcedo noted that Morgan had an interesting history in the Royal Rumble, and Liv replied by pointing out that she was also a runner-up last year. She expressed her hope that 2025 will be the year she will finally win the bout.
“I do, I mean last year, I came very close as well, was also a runner-up last year as well when Rhea beat me,” Liv Morgan said. “I think Natty and I are the only superstars in WWE to be in all seven women’s Rumble match. So I am a bit of a veteran in this match. So maybe next year will be my year.”
