Liv Morgan Teases Surprises for WWE RAW’s Netflix Premiere

The WWE Raw debut on Netflix is shaping up to be a must-see event, with stars like The Rock and John Cena confirmed to appear. But according to WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, there are plenty of surprises in store for fans tuning in.

Speaking with Emily Aslanian for TV Insider, Morgan couldn’t hide her excitement for the unexpected twists WWE is known for. “I know there’s definitely a few tricks up WWE’s sleeves. With WWE, you never know who’s going to show up or what you can expect, so I’m kind of in for the surprises just like everyone else. I’m excited to see what happens. I’m excited to see who shows up,” Morgan said.

Morgan also opened up about the historic move to Netflix from a talent’s perspective, highlighting how the platform could introduce WWE to a whole new audience. “What I’m excited about is all of the new potential viewers that are going to be tuning in,” she explained. “Whether you’re joining us on Netflix because you’re already watching wrestling, or whether you’re going to pick it up because you’re just scrolling and you’re like, ‘Oh, nostalgia,’ or if you’re like me and you choose something maybe you wouldn’t typically watch because you feel like you’ve watched everything and then you fall in love and become obsessed with it…. I’m so excited for people to have that experience.”

Morgan added that the significance of this shift hasn’t entirely sunk in yet. “This is going to be a big deal, you know?” she said, emphasizing the energy and excitement of live TV that will now be accessible to an even broader audience.

As Liv Morgan prepares to defend her WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley at the Netflix premiere, fans can only speculate about what other surprises WWE has planned for the monumental night.
