Liverpool have been linked with the Manchester United midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
A report from Fichajes claims that Liverpool are closely monitoring the situation of the Moroccan International ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old midfielder is currently on loan at Manchester United from Fiorentina and they have an option to sign him permanently. However, his performances have been rather underwhelming at Old Trafford and Manchester United do not plan to trigger the option to buy him permanently.
Amrabat does not have a future at the Italian club either and he’s likely to be available in the summer. It appears that Liverpool are keeping tabs on him and it remains to be seen whether they decide to make a move for him.

The 27-year-old was outstanding during the 2022 World Cup and he helped his country reach the semifinals of the competition. His performances in the World Cup saw him linked with the top clubs across Europe. However, the move to Manchester United has not worked out for him. He has struggled at Old Trafford and he has not been able to adapt to the Premier League either.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool are willing to take a gamble on the Manchester United flop and give him another opportunity in English football.
The midfielder is reportedly valued at €20 million and Liverpool certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal done. On paper, a combative midfielder like Amrabat would be the ideal acquisition for Liverpool and they would do well to secure his services on a bargain.
It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds over the next few weeks. The midfielder is reportedly on the radar of Atletico Madrid and Barcelona as well.
