Liverpool are reportedly targeting Mohamed Salah’s successor, whose contract expires in a year.

With the future of Mohamed Salah, who is a free agent in a year, still unclear, Liverpool’s directors are reportedly looking for a successor to the Egyptian.

According to information from the Japanese media Sponichirelayed by Sky Sportsthe Reds are said to be keen on Takefusa Kubo. The residents are even said to be ready to put in the resources to secure the services of the 23-year-old Japanese striker, under contract until June 2029 with Real Sociedad.

As a reminder, Kuno has scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists in 41 appearances (all competitions).
