Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks.
Liverpool have recently made an enquiry for the 23-year-old winger but a report from Football Insider claims that Newcastle are only interested in doing business if Jarell Quansah is a part of the deal.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool are willing to accept those demands. Quansah has been a useful squad player for them this past season and he could develop into a key player for Liverpool in the coming season seasons.
The 21-year-old central defender has proven himself to be a reliable performer and he’s only going to improve with coaching and experience. He has the physical and technical attributes to develop into a top class Premier League defender.

Jarell Quansah in action for Liverpool.Liverpool unlikely to let Jarell Quansah leave
Although Liverpool need to bring a quality winger, they will not want to lose a prized young prospect like Quansah any time soon. Virgil van Dijk is in his 30s and the likes of Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez are quite injury prone. Liverpool need to hold onto Quansah, and it seems unlikely that they will allow him to be a part of the deal for Gordon.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old winger has been quite impressive for Newcastle since joining them and he scored 12 goals and picked up 10 assists in all competitions last season. He could develop into a quality player in the coming seasons and the opportunity to move to Liverpool will be quite attractive for him.
Gordon came through the Liverpool Academy before moving to Everton and the opportunity to return to his boyhood club will certainly be difficult to turn down. It remains to be seen whether the Liverpool decide to test Newcastle’s resolve with an offer this summer. The 23-year-old will add goals and creativity to their attack, and his versatility will be an added bonus.
