Liverpool are reportedly keen on the Fenerbahce defender Ferdi Kadioglu.
The 24-year-old left-back is a target for Premier League giants Manchester City as well, according to Aksam.
Liverpool already have Andrew Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas at their disposal. It would be quite surprising if they decided to invest in another left-back without getting rid of someone first.
The Reds should concentrate on signing a quality central defender instead. Joel Matip will be out of contract in the summer and they will need to replace him adequately.
Meanwhile, Kadioglu has done quite well in the Turkish league and he has five goal contributions this season. He could prove to be a useful acquisition for the two English clubs.
The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be an attractive one for the Turkish international and it remains to be seen how the situation develops. The 24-year-old is reportedly a target for European clubs Borussia Dortmund, AC, Milan and Napoli as well. Kadioglu needs to join a club where he will pay regularly and a move to Liverpool might not be ideal for him.

Manchester City might be able to provide him with more first-team opportunities if he can prove himself in the Premier League. They have been using Josko Gvardiol as a makeshift full-back this season and Pep Guardiola needs a specialist left-back at his disposal. It will be interesting to see where the 24 year-old ends up during the summer window.
Fenerbahce President Ali Koc has already admitted to Cumhuriyet that the defender could be on the move at the end of the season.
