Liverpool had a quiet summer transfer window with only two signings made at the club.
Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili was signed and loan straight away to Valencia while Federico Chiesa arrived at the club from Juventus.
The Reds failed miserably in their pursuit to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.
Their disappointing transfer window has not affected their form on the pitch as they are currently leading the Premier League standings.
Arne Slot and his team have already received a major boost as one of their transfer targets wants to leave his club next year.
According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze is looking to leave the South London club next year.
The England international has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Tottenham but his transfer away from Selhurst Park this summer failed to materialise.
The Reds are still keen on signing the player who represented the Three Lions at the Euros.

Eze is not short of admirers among the Premier League clubs and Palace were surprised how nobody made a move for him in the recently closed summer transfer window.
The midfielder has made up his mind to leave Palace next year as he is looking for a new challenge, just like his former teammate Michael Olise who left the Eagles to join Bayern Munich this summer.
The 26-year-old had a £68 million release clause in his contract that expired this summer.
However, it is expected to reactivate again giving clubs the chance to sign him.

The midfielder still has three years remaining on his current deal at Selhurst Park but he is open to the idea of leaving the club next year.
In eight matches this season, the former QPR player has scored three goals and registered one assist for Oliver Glasner’s team.
It is not a surprise to see Liverpool being interested in Eze as the player has the potential to unlock any defense in the league and not only is he a brilliant finisher, he also offers a goal scoring presence in front of goal.
