Liverpool welcome Norwich City to Anfield in the FA Cup fourth round this Sunday afternoon, live on talkSPORT.

The Reds return to action only four days after booking their place in the Carabao Cup final with a 3-2 aggregate win against Fulham.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are one of the most in-form teams in England and the Premier League leaders will be aiming to go all the way in this competition.

That means this will be an tough assignment for the Canaries who were taken to a replay by Bristol Rovers before securing a trip to Merseyside.

Norwich boss David Wagner will be reunited with one of his closest friends when he arrives at Anfield to take on Klopp’s Liverpool.

The German was teammates with the Reds manager at Mainz between 1991 and 1995 as well as the Best Man at his wedding in 2005.

Speaking after the Canaries progressed, Wagner said: “I haven’t checked my messages yet.

“But I wouldn’t be surprised if Jurgen has already been in touch now we’re through.

“I haven’t seen Jurgen in person since his birthday party last year so it will be great to have a bit of reunion with him.

“But it’s not about us and above all it’s all about making sure my team go to Anfield and do Norwich City proud.”

It’s their longest current unbeaten run against any side. Andy Robertson made his long-awaited return to action against Fulham in the Carabao Cup and he should feature in this tie.

Vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold could also make a comeback while Dominik Szoboszlai is close to full fitness and may play.

Joel Matip, Konstantinos Tsimikas, Thiago and Stefan Bajcetic all remain out.

As for Norwich, Danny Batth is out while Grant Hanley is carrying a knock that has kept him out of action for the last six games.

Star winger Jonathan Rowe suffered a head injury against Leeds and he is set to be assessed ahead of the trip to Anfield.

He said: “A tie at Anfield is a really big prize for my team and I know my players will relish the opportunity to take on the Premier League’s best players.

“But it’s not something that should hold any fear for my players and I will be telling them that we will go for it.

“It will be a great game. I promise we will be ready and will give a good account of ourselves.”
