Former international Bixente Lizarazu did not like Bradley Barcola’s performance during Bayern – PSG.

PSG missed out on Tuesday evening at Bayern Munich (0-1). Among the Ile-de-France players who disappointed the most during this game was Bradley Barcola. The French international had very little influence at the forefront.

The ex-Lyonnais delivered an insufficient performance. This did not escape the attention of Bixente Lizarazu. The 98 world champion told L’Equipe that the Parisian winger “not good in the Champions League”. This is particularly true with his number of goals scored in the event (only 1 goal scored in 15 matches).

Lizarazu doesn’t understand

“He has limits, but he is young. You have to accept it”Liza continued about Barcola, thus refusing to burden him more than that.

The former Blue especially blames the Parisian management for not having made a good recruitment: “More generally, it is not possible when PSG is to build a squad like that, you have to have a strong team in all competitions. It can happen that you fail, but a great club, every year, it fights in all the events.”

Undisputed leader of Ligue 1, Paris is indeed on the verge of elimination in the Champions League. Three days before the regular phase, there are only 26e in the ranking.
