One of the fastest-rising stars in the WWE is Logan Paul. In the short time being a full-time WWE Superstar, he has been able to defeat a two-time Grand Slam Champion in The Miz. He also wrestled and defeated WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio to capture the WWE United States Championship. Paul also went toe-to-toe with the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.
This past Saturday Night, The Maverick got to compete in his first-ever Elimination Chamber match. During the match, he put on a tough fight. He in fact was one of the final three members in the match. As he seemed to have been nearing victory, Logan Paul also brought in brass knuckles to the fight. At the exact time the WWE United States Champion was going to use the brass knuckles, he got taken out with an RKO from Randy Orton.
Following the match, Paul sent a couple of tweets referencing his time spent inside the Elimination Chamber. One of them was a clip. It was a short video of him hitting an RKO on one of his friends for a YouTube video back in 2018. Six years later, he suffered an RKO from the creator himself, Randy Orton.
Logan Paul claims he is the next Roman Reigns
Logan Paul managed to retain his championship at the Royal Rumble PLE. He later opened up about the match and his performance in the following episode of the Impaulsive Podcast. During the episode, Paul claimed that he is growing very fast and he could become the next Roman Reigns.
“I had a taxing day yesterday,” Logan Paul said. “Kevin Owens is better than I thought. He’s good, he’s very good. I made fun of him frequently, I called him all sorts of things. I called him the ‘Humpty Dumpty of WWE.’ Called him a 40-year-old schoolboy because he dresses like a teenager. I underestimated him, and I’m in a little bit of pain.
“I’m in a little bit of pain. I did retain my title against all odds for the first time in WWE. That’s the Royal Rumble, and that’s all it takes. One title defense at a time. Who knows, at this rate, I could be the next Roman Reigns. I’m in pain, but I bled.”
Do you think Logan Paul will be wrestling Randy Orton at WrestleMania 40?
