Logan Paul is a little jealous of Roman Reigns.
In just over two years, Logan Paul has earned one reign as WWE United States Champion, while also challenging for the Undisputed WWE Championship one two occasions. Despite his early success, though, Paul admits there is still a sense of jealousy toward one of WWE’s top stars, namely Roman Reigns. On the latest episode of Impaulsive, Paul explained why.
“I’m envious of guys like Roman [Reigns] who don’t have to risk their entire body and health and wellness because people are so invested in the story [of The Bloodline],” Paul said. “It’s such a good note. That’s a veteran note, but that’s the hardest part. How can you tell that story to get people invested in who you are?”
Paul’s guest, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker, provided an answer to his latter question, explaining that fan investment can take time to gain.
“It takes time, and especially somebody coming in at two, three years [ago]. At three years, I could barely lace my boots. There’s such a process, but it’s trial and error too,” Undertaker said.
“You have to figure out what you want, because you want it to look natural, you want it to look real. I think a lot of times what happens are the guys, and I tell them this all the time, ‘You don’t look like a wrestler to me. You look like somebody trying to emulate a wrestler.’ You’re trying to be something that you’ve seen on TV.’ I don’t get that with you. I get Logan Paul. That’s what I get, and that’s awesome.”
