Chido Obi-Martin hits the ground running on his full debut for Manchester United U18s.
The youngster, who joined from Arsenal in the summer, has made a lightning-quick start in the famous red shirt to rub the salt in the wounds down south.
Arsenal suffered a major blow in the summer when Chido Obi-Martin turned down advances to sign a new deal. It eventually turned out that he intended to step up his development by joining Manchester United.
The young striker impressed in the U18 Premier League last season with 32 goals in 18 matches.
From a United perspective, it’s fantastic to see us get one over our rivals. Especially at a time Arsenal’s first team is in much better shape as they’re competing with Man City for Premier League titles.
Obi-Martin was arguably the brightest prospect in Arsenal’s academy and it has not taken long for him to show United fans why that was the case.
