Recruited by OM from Le Havre as one of the club’s big hopes in central defense, the great central defender had a successful loan spell with Auxerre two years ago. But it wasn’t enough to convince OM to keep him since he had gone to Lorient in an exchange with Bamo Meïté. Author of a 24-match season last season, the 21-year-old defender will probably not stay with the Merlus who play in Ligue 2 this year. As we revealed to you recently, Udinese had positioned itself on the file in the last hours of this transfer window and there has been progress in the discussions.
Indeed, according to our information, an agreement is about to be reached between all parties. Negotiations have progressed well in the last few hours and Udinese should reach an agreement with FC Lorient this Friday around Isaak Touré. The native of Gonesse will head to Udine in the form of a loan with an option to buy. A nice deal for the Friuli club which already has a few French-speaking players in its squad: Axel Guessand, Florian Thauvin and Enzo Ebosse.
