According to a study by the CIES Football Observatory, Losc displays the best buy-sell ratio on the global transfer market.

Heir to Luis Campos who will probably have achieved his best shots in France for the benefit of Losc, the northern club can boast of being at the top of the world hierarchy in terms of trading. At least that is the conclusion of the study of the week published by the CIES Football Observatory.

Over the period 2014-2023, the Mastiffs invested 241 million euros in the transfer market, for 627 million in revenue, a positive balance of 386 million euros. We particularly remember the lucrative deals concluded with Arsenal, Naples or AC Milan for Nicolas Pépé (80 million), Victor Osimhen (75 million) and Rafael Leao (50 million). No one is doing better in the world of football – Lille is ahead of Ajax Amsterdam (+317 million) and RB Salzburg (+233 million) on the podium.

The big slates of OM and PSG

Coincidence or coincidence, a second Ligue 1 club which was able to benefit from the services of Luis Campos – AS Monaco – is also in good place, fourth in the ranking with 218 million euros in profits (84 million purchases for 317 million sales). On the other hand, for the two most emblematic clubs of the French championship, the bill is steep. OM finds itself in the red to the tune of 74 million euros (293 million in revenue for 367 million in expenditure). PSG, for its part, has the fourth most disastrous record, after FC Barcelona (-631 million), Chelsea (-483 million) and Arsenal (-436 million). This with an overall loss of 410 million euros on the market (415 million sales for 825 million purchases).
