Identified as one of the most promising players of the 2003 generation at his position in France, Alan Virginius joined Young Boys Bern this summer on loan. Unable to guarantee him the playing time he hoped for, LOSC, which recruited him from Sochaux in 2022 and which remains aware of his significant potential, therefore intends to find him again next summer. The Swiss championship, known for being an accelerated training gate for young players, is already offering him a showcase this season to express himself, while the Young Boys are competing in the Champions League at the same time.
Moreover, Virginius had a lot to do with it, since he scored in the return play-off against Galatasaray in August, shortly after coming off the bench. His good debut had since opened the doors to the France Espoirs team, and they also attracted the interest of a major European club, namely Juventus Turin. According to our information, the 21-year-old striker is in fact on the list of players targeted by the Piedmont club. Some members of Thiago Motta’s staff see him as a potential replacement for Timothée Weah for next season. As a reminder, the explosive winger is linked to LOSC until 2027.
